Keb is Semi-Finalist in Humane Hero Dog Awards

Vote for Keb Here
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everybody that voted and helped Keb succeed in becoming a semi-finalist in the American Hero Dog Awards. The formal announcement came out yesterday and Keb is now one of the three top dogs in the United States in the search and rescue category. The second round of DAILY voting – to determine SAR Category WINNER – will commence on June 6 and go until July 22. Winners will be decided based on a combination of votes and a panel of celebrities and influencers who love dogs. Keb is sending grateful woofs and nudges and hope you will continue to support her. Your time and support is not taken for granted. Truly.

This is how the American Human Hero Dog Organization describes the program on their web site:

More than 400,000 votes
from animal lovers across the country have decided the top 21 semifinalists from a pool of nearly 400 candidates competing in the 2022 American Humane Hero Dog Awards®! All animal lovers are encouraged to visit  www.HeroDogAwards.org between now and July 22 to vote once per day for their favorite contender in each of the seven Hero Dog categories. Those who get the most votes will be named this year’s category winners!
The 21 semifinalists are heroes who exemplify courage through their brave stories. Some of these incredible dogs enhance the lives of people in need, while others are our protectors and others are survivors who overcame the longest of odds.

The 2022 Hero Dog Awards categories include: Law Enforcement and Detection Dogs; Service Dogs; Therapy Dogs; Military Dogs; Search and Rescue Dogs; Guide/Hearing Dogs; and Shelter Dogs.

“The Hero Dog Awards shines a bright light on man’s best friend and celebrates the strength, hope and beauty that dogs bring to our lives,” said Dr. Robin Ganzert, president and CEO of American Humane.

The seven category winners, selected to be this year’s “Hero Dogs of the Year” will be honored at the star-studded American Humane Hero Dog Awards gala in Palm Beach on November 11, and one special canine will be recognized as this year’s American Hero Dog.
