Our HHRD Dogs Help Solving the Mystery of Long Lost Graves at the Northern State Hospital in Sedro Wooley

We are honored to support Project Manager John Horne with our historically trained dogs on a project searching for unmarked graves at the Northern State Hospital in Sedro Wooley. You can read more in this Seattle Times article about the work our dogs are doing and the tragic history and current efforts to reunite family members with the burial sites of long lost relatives.

Northern State Hospital at one time was the largest asylum in Washington State and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
