July 2020:  What arrived in the mail? Both Keb and Kili received AKC (American Kennel Club) Titles, Intermediate and Advanced respectively, as Trick Dogs in July. AKC is now providing virtual opportunities to qualify for some titles due to Covid-19 and we were able to send in a total of 50 videos of various tricks, showcasing discrimination, obedience and agility skills as well as some tricks that are just fun and great for PR events. My favorite trick with Keb is “licking her lips” when I offer steak (surprisingly difficult to teach a dog). Kili has become an expert at opening doors (the downside being that we now have had to childproof doors we don’t want him to open) and the use of words to discriminate between objects and shapes.
